Its not so much the 12 year olds now, thank god for mute. Today I was laying on a roof sniping and a guy on my team, who aparently thought that was his spot, kept throwing flash grenades infront of me, knifing me, laying infront of me, continually shooting his gun off and giving away my position. I am so sick of these kids on Xbox Live. I wish their was a way Xbox could crunch down on these kids. I have gotten so many hate messages on Live and I keep them all in my inbox in hopes that one day I can send them to M$....
I get sick playing Orange Box, and I looked it up on google and a lot of people do. Aparantly it has something to due with a slight change of the POV when they ported it from Xbox...something along those lines.
I dont think the K/D ratio is a reliable way to judge someones skill. but mine have always been around the .94 ish mark, occasionally hanging at the 1.0slil_zelda_dudeHow does it not judge someones skill...it compares your kills to your deaths, i don't know any better way to judge that.
I recently had to change the bulb in my 60" Bravia. It lasted like 1.5 years with a ton of use so I agree.[QUOTE="X360PS3AMD05"]Nah you just got a crappy older one, the newer models should last for a long while before needing a bulb. Pirate700
Pay $150-$200 every year and a half. How does that make any sense when you pay upwards to $2000 for a TV, you shouldn't be happy paying extra money every year and a half. Don't get my wrong, i loved my DLP tv, great for gaming but DLP is old technology and it was getting annoying having to pay so much to upkeep it.
So I previously owned a 44" Toshiba DLP HDTV which we we have had to put 3 new bulbs in within the last 4 years which has been a pain in the *** not to mention expensive. Recently we noticed the colors were a little off, reds were no longer reds and blues were more green. We called Bestbuy and they said seeing as we have the warranty, they would send someone directly to our house to fix the TV.
Few days went buy and we hadn't heard from neither Bestbuy or the Tech company who was suppose to fix our television. I called Bestbuy again and they faxed the info to the tech company and then got them on the line. The guy at the tech company told us he would only go and fix the TV if Bestbuy gave him mileage because we are approx an hour and a half away from them. Bestbuy looked into it and for some reason were unable to pay him mileage so he now wouldn't fix the television. The guy at Bestbuy looked into it and now the only option was to bring my TV in for an exchange. Rules were that the TV and recieved had to be atleast 44"+ and had to be atleast $1399.99, the original price I paid 4 years ago.
Now yesterday we brought the TV into Bestbuy and they took the TV, checked to make sure their was actually something wrong with it and gave us a $1399.99 gift certificate. We went to began looking at TV's. The guy helping us told us it was our lucky day, if we bought a TV 50"+, we would get a free in-home installation including a free wall mount, two component hook-up, and hiding the wires. We ended up purchasing a 55" LG LCD HDTV worth $2200, it was onsale for $1799, an in-home installation worth approx $300-$400, a wall mount worth $250, and the warranty worth $350....all for a whopping $850!
Just thought I would share that with everyone.
Carry on
