This reminds me of when I waited to buy my DS until the XL came out, after which about 5 more iterations were introduced and my new system was unable to play any of the new games. Nintendo cares more about foisting hardware on us than they do about the quality or even quantity of the games they're releasing.

I had originally thought the game wasn't coming out until some time in December, so this is more like a "push forward" for me. Now do you see the benefits of being misinformed, people?

This is purely my opinion, but I find video games to be LESS of a problem than guns. When idiots play with video games, I never die.

I haven't played the Red Faction games, but I've heard good things and hope they manage to get picked up in not too long.

As for Saints Row being alive still, Huzzah!

Maybe the hiatus will allow them to dream up a particularly nice PoP game in the years to come. Pushing these things out on a constant basis wasn't improving the quality.

Seems like the past few years the industry's been consolidated, whittled away and generally kicked around. It's too bad the economy can't support more devs so we can have an even broader variety of games coming out.
