No one knows what to think of this game yet. Because it's so heavily multi-player focused, and because the content is not confirmed, all judgments will change.

There's so much wrong with the hypothesis that games cause violence that it's a non-starter.

I'ts already successful (for them). Successful for you, the player, is no longer necessary. It's optional.

They must be making a game that they want you to play for years and years. This is risky though because if the user base isn't retained...

When someone says X is "basically" like Y, it's almost always over-simplification.

I think SEGA dying gave SONY an extra leg-up too.

Even if you grant that the Genesis had great titles, you still have the problem of explaining the endless list of redundant sports titles.

Mouse and Keyboard is superior to everything isn't? It's the superior method on the superior platform. Consoles are moving towards mouse and keyboard because it's so obviously superior, and PCs are ditching regular controllers in droves.

I'm sick of all of those games. There's many that weren't even that well received at the time.
