@redviperofdorne: Already prefer it to Destiny. Less of a fan of first-person combat. It's hardly a Destiny-clone.

@sippio: Not risky at all (on Xbox). My last 2 preorders were Fallout 76 and Anthem, the former I canceled after the beta and the second I really enjoy. There's no 'need' to do it now, but I enjoy the franchise and more information/ gameplay will emerge well before the cancelation cut-off in case of serious issues. So I'm happy to support a single-player game (though I also enjoy multiplayers).

The review basically says 'it's fine'. But a '6' is a car crash score in today's day and age. Seems to be a disconnect there. GameSpot originally gave 'No Man's Sky' a '7' for example.

I'm hoping to be entranced by the story but then come back for the joy of the gameplay which I tried in the demos. Right now, this looks like it will occupy me for some extensive time.

How about taxing stupidity, that would make a lot of money.

I played some of each and found Kassandra a clearly better choice. No accounting for taste.

@gamingdevil800: It appears your mileage varies, I played it for 5 playthroughs over some 400 hours. :-/

As if you care, Gamespot, after your miserly 6/10 sour review of Mass Effect Andromeda. It had some issues at launch, but that clickbait review was just mean-spirited. :-(

@jagdedge124: The 4 person co-op looked rather interesting, that's why I pre-ordered. I don't think that's unreasonable. 'Free choice' and all... I'm looking forward to trying the Beta on Tuesday.
