The real problem is the people in charge are bankers/financial advisers who likely never even play games. They just look at the books and see short term gain and go "Well people liked it" when the media gaming channels hype it or "It was a flop" when in reality the complaints could be easy fixes but the bankers hire some young punk who goes "Yeah Dude Game on!".

When The Crew first came out there were complaints about the crap AI so Wild Run was created as a false fix and for a while it actually shut people up who were distracted with the glitz. Don't tell me we don't live in the gilded age.

Since the 1990s more and more companies are owned by a single entity like Disney owned by ABC owned by a financial institution owned by a large bank firm owned by one of the super rich families of the world owned by the 1 percent.

That is NOT capitalism and actually is a *taste* of socialism where there really is no difference among companies if they are allowed to exist but since Americans BEG for socialism this is the crap they get. Don't complain! You idiot Americans made your bed now sleep in it.

In other words as long as it's the same business people in charge expect The Crew 2 to be no different then the first other then visuals.
