I'm worried about the bugs which is why I'll probably by the game when it drops in price and has had a few patches. Having said that, it's kinda weird to mark a game down THIS much for bugs and yet let off major franchises for doing the same.
@Fernin-Ker: I'm not against the idea of story driven games and good narrative but I was talking about the modern "obsession" with it. Almost every maor release these days has such a focus on narrative that the gameplay often lags behind.
"The true challenge and satisfaction comes from mastering the base combat mechanics, which is responsive, and fluid--allowing you to bounce between multiple foes easily"
This does not seem at all like the combat shown in gameplay videos, which was slow, robotic, cumbersom and with an archaic camera. Someone telling us porkies?
Also, what is this modern obsession with narrative? Yes games can have a story to tell and they may even tell it very well but that should never be allowed to trump gameplay. Never.
@Ovirew: You're boring me but i'll reply one last time: most of what you posted happened in the last 2 and a half episodes which were relaly good. I've said that in other posts on the topic but before that the season was slow, boring and useless. Much like the lastter 2 books.
@Ovirew: I agree. The show was doing a good job through season 2 and 3 to redeem him but he hasj ust gone back to being Cersei's puppet (and yet another incest scene). Thing is, in the books you actually end up liking Jaime...maybe even forgiving him to a certain extent. I dunno if you've read the books so I'll leave it at that.
@ahmetxca: I agree, Sam's story is stupid af but I like the faster pace of this season. Last season was the worst the show has ever had and one of the worst (barring the last 2.5 episodes) seasons I've watched since Heroes season 2.
We're finally seeing events taking place that we have waited far too long for and the armies/powers/kings/queens are lining up their pieces without waffle.
I completely forgot about Tysha andi t's sad the story never followed through in the show, becauset hat is such a major motivator for Tyrion's rage, leaving him to kill that other whore and then finally his father. It made so much sense in the books but in the show, felt a little off. Yes his father had the woman in his bed...but should that relaly have led to murder?
I also miss the story of the second Targaryen. That is the most intriguing mystery in the books for me.
"This is a new one"...felt like a cameo from an American sitcom and that's my only problem with ed himself, other than that, he hadl ike one line.
The entire scene however was problematic because there is a world of difference between humanising the villains to a certian extent and completely turning them into likable "fellas". Nope, poor writing.
But ANYWAY, that console looks gorgeous! And I can see them going down the indie route, so making a console powerful enough to play modern indie games, digital only most likely. Stuff like that might sell well.
