Uncharted 4 is alongside TW3, BF1 and a couple others the best looking games of the last 18-24 months. For me, with its fluidity and draw distance, it is the best.

Ryse and The Order are below that, in fact Ryse is several tiers below the best looking games of current gen. I remember playing it at an XB1 preview event and I wasn't even impressed back then.

Out of the mainstream Mario, AAA games from Mario 64 to now, Sunshine is the worst.

However, I wouldn't call it broken or maybe I ddn't notice the problems you stated 13/14 years ago.

Don't listen to the people saying Deus Ex MD. It's essentially the previous game with a slight face list.

From what I've played, TW3 looks to be very god thus far. Imo, much better than the previous Witcher games.

Also, as repetitive as Fallout 4 gets in the last few years, the opening 10 hours or so are class and well worth the money.

Other than that, not much else on offer.

Honestly, they should just make a new PoP game, have the platforming elements of the original PS2 gen game and the sword play of later games with the added modern advantages of superior gaming engines and larger environments with more enemies.

@soul_starter: More focus on choices and stop all the relationship shit.

That is what i will look for.

If they do relationships such as ME2 I'm fine with that but in terms of romantic involvement, I find it cheesy as hell lol

well looks like we're getting some of the stuff we wanted: bigger, less linear planets and more varied customisation. yay!

however microtransactions seem to be the name of the game for mp

Can you get Half Life 2 on it?

Also, if you haven't already, might as well get Bioshock. And Modern Warfare 2 is one of the best games in the genre. If you still have your 360, get it on that.

Got a question people

Anyone remember the name to a game about robots, which was set in a free roam environment and featured flying cars (I think)???

I'm pretty sure it was PC only

Well as the title say, do you like using Steam?

For me personally, I like games. I don't care what store I'm buying them from, but Steam seems to have more games I want than Origin etc. I don't spend hours using the actual program since I already know what I want to play. The library is organized and nice to look at, the big picture mode works as intended, the sales are still interesting enough for me, and the client itself is very non-intrusive. Also, Steam now has a refund system, making it even better to use. Overall, It's just a means to an end.

So gamers, has Steam been good to you over the past years?

I have no isse with using any online service (As long as it's reputable) to download PC games but what I have a problem with is signing in to these services to simply play the games.

Plus, Steam downloads are poorly optimised for newer systems and I haven't been able to get KOTOR 2 to work on my windows 10 PC at all. The steam staff and community are useless too.

From them , no. Probably not. But we do have Doom. And I might argue that Titanfall 2 is worth it just for the campaign. It seems to me that Halo games focus on the campaign. I think both campaign and multiplayer need to be focused on and done right for a FPS game to be worth $60. I would actually like to see them all doing more like COD does in adding Zombies and other content. I want SP, MP and a lot of different modes from these developers. We should expect more content than we get I think.

Agreed 100%.

I liked the overall package of COD: Modern Warfare 2. There was the excellent campaign, the co-op mission set (could player that mode as sp too but it wasn't as fun and then the out and out competitive multiplayer modes. That was a great package. Me and my friends enjoyed it for 2 of the 3 years at uni. Now thats value for money.

FPS games since that have focused a lot on limited sp and robust mp with the modern addition of paying for online services and microtransactions all thrown in. MP has become a huge market so hoping for a game that is truly worth the initial cost is dreaming a bit too much.

Having said that, I would love a company to come along and develop a SP FPS game experience similar to Half Life 2 or Bioshock. Again, that's looks similarly impossible.
