At least now i know the clicking noise is normal. According to some of you here the ring mark of the disc is normal, just hope that's true.

[QUOTE="KBFloYd"]

mine does some clicking when switching menus and loading games

but unless its so loud it scares you then no prob.

my brawl disc also developed the ring..the rest are fine.

This is exactly what i'm talking about. It seems games develope that ring over time specially after getting more used.

I have some question to ask you. I have a Wii since the first day it became available and i have always had a little doubt,it makes a clicking noise when you first insert a game, the same clicking noise happens when when returning to the menu from a game. The other thing i would like to know may sound silly but hope you guys help, recently i took a look at the bottom ofmy SmashBros Brawl disc and some of my older games and found that they have a circular mark at the center, it's not a scratch it's just a circular mark at the center were the ring that holds CD's and DVD's ina Laptop disc drives touch.

1. Is the cliking noise normal (only happens when inserting and returning to the menu)?

2. What about those circular marks at the botom center of the games (remember it is not a scratch?

I mean the first day it went on sale, my point is that i have never liked too much the things in the list.

[QUOTE="soulreaper-4"]

I have a DS Lite since lunch and even if i like many games it have as of today i i haven't been able to enjoy it like i should or want, not because the graphics, just cause i find ituncomfortable to hold and play.I don't know if its me or what but i really don't like too much the way the D Pad is made, from the texture to how loose it is and doesn't stay firm to the fell of itplus i don't like too muchthe plastic exterior.

So to get to the point i want you to tell me if the matte finish of the DSi feels a lot better when holding? how are the buttons? Are they better? what about the D Pad? is it and fells better? how comfortable is the system in general compare to the Lite?

gacs_25

The DSi has:

- Superior matte finish that feels great to the touch. Console doesn't get sweaty and smudgy like the Lite's glossy finish.

- Superior controllers. They are not flimsy as is the case with the DS Lite's. They are sturdier and have a clicking sound, i.e. a je ne sais quoi that just feels right.

In general? That is certainly bound to opinion. If you can't let go of your GBA games then the Lite will probably be a better option, if you don't care about such a trivial thing, then the DSi is a much more superior console; Nintendo DSi Shop, built-in Internet browser, superior Wi-Fi, Wii-like menu, hot swap (meaning that you don't need to turn the DS off every time you change a game), SD card slot for storing games/music/pictures, camera, in-game brightness adjustment, slightly larger screens without sacrificing portability, thinner design, etc, etc...

So the d pad and overall systemis more comfortable?

I got a 120GB slim at christmas time. So maybe somethings wrong. When it was installing Batman AA it was so load I was scared something was really wrong

Don't worry. If your PS3 is not overheating it is not a problem to hear some noise, when i say overheating in not reffering to how hot the exterior is i mean the system shutting donw by itselft and the power light flasing. I got a Slim and thought the noise was somewhat loud and after having luck with the GameStop people were i bought it i replace it with a second one and to my surprise it stil the same, not as quite as i was hearing and expecting. Plus after doing some online reasearch i'd found that most of the early PS3s have a Delta Fan that compress the sound coming out of the unit and the newers have a Nidec Fan that is more noisey and don't compress the sound, so it is 50/50 of probability to get the one that makes less noise.
