No offence, but i don't understand why people on these forums make a topic just to ask about games for little kids. You can go to gamestop, and browse the internet and read.
I have a 42LD520 (I believe that's the correct model)
It's not like LG has always had a high black level measurement. If I remember right, Cnet rated one of their LCDs a few years ago at 0.01.
For $600 it could not be beat.
Cnet should be taken with a grain of salt. They don't give now a day more than 3 stars to TVs unless they are the ones with Wi-Fi antenna, Programs, 120Hz.etc.
I recently bought a 32 Sony 1080p an it is awesome for gaming. I can't feel a single bit of lag playing games like Marvel vs Capcom 3. The picture quality is great after calibrating it. As for the the kind of panels, i am not too sure about that, but blacks look much more better on this one compare to my older one.
[QUOTE="MethodManFTW"]Eh I dunno.. Most of the people on the interwebz I hear from regularly still have launch ps3's. Bummer tho. :( Yep! Most people still have their fat models. It's like every other electronic device, it can last you almost forever, a few months, weeks, days.
While researching i have found many places with people saying these 120Hz are gimmick just for movies. According to many, they are not real 120Hz and just add artificial frames.
I'm about to upgrade from a 26 to a 32 inches HDTV. Before making the investment i have been thinking, what if the next consoles run games at 120hz? Will i need to upgrade againg to a 120hz models? I have heard that these models just add some extra frames.
