Condemed: Crimal Origins. That demo was scary.isaach11687

Ack! I forgot that one. Great demo for one of the best 360 games to date.

You are right that it should be based on content. For me though single player is extremely important, I would not buy a multiplayer only game at full price.

Did you buy Halo 2?

I kid. :]

[QUOTE="soultron"][QUOTE="thetraitor"]Shadowrun is terrible. It ripped off counterstrike's buy system and swapped most of the weapons for lame spells and gadgets.GodModeEnabled

I'm betting you haven't even played it. Tell me I'm right.

Honestly, this game is a case of everyone hating it before they've even played it. No one is giving Shadowrun a chance.

The fact that reviewers harp on FASA for missing an "opportunity" to make an RPG, and that reviewers actually make this into a percieved flaw astounds me. Stop wasting time wishing that this iteration of Shadowrun could be an RPG. It's not, and furthermore, it's a completely competent online shooter. Hell, it even brought something new to a stagnant genre. It should be praised for that, at the very least.

In short: stop whining and give this game a try. You might manage to squeeze some fun out of it.

In case you missed the review score here: 6.9.

GME, the reason I cannot agree with any review is because they're primarily buyer's advice. I have no problem spending $70 on an online game if it's great. Sure, FASA's disbandment will probably cut the content short, past the first two updates planned. Still, being a Gold subscriber, and one who primarily purchases games for the online play, I don't see the problem.

Personally, I don't think Shadowrun would work in a single player environment. Just as Counter Strike: Condition Zero didn't work. Once a game is geared towards the multiplayer side of things, and that exclusively, the developers have painted themselves into a corner. FASA would've been immolated had they ruined the single player exerience, and most likely, they would have since the spells and such would be so difficult to craft a decent single player game out of. Damned if they do, damned if they don't, if you ask me.

The price is unfortunate, but I'm starting to get used to Shane Kim's BS. It would've sold better at half the current price, but there's no changing that it's a great game.

On a side note; I cannot agree with the MLG review, either. Too much hyperbole, and the source abandons all objectivity and welcomes the fact that it is writing for a competitive gaming audience. No thanks.

[QUOTE="Samwel_X"][QUOTE="RamboSymbiot"]

i never said anything about watching girls from a distance. That may be what you do but not me. I can approach with confidence, flirt, take them out and have a goodtime. Dont be jealous. not everyone can be cool like me

RamboSymbiot

Pfft, to OP going round saying your awesome and have loads of friends and stuff, doesn't make you popular. It just makes people think your arrogant.

I sense jealousy from you as well. truth hurts man, I know

If I, too, had a Splinter Cell avatar, would I be cla.ssfied as "cool?"

Der Fuhrer? You don't need to say the The Leader. It's like saying the Los Muertos ("The The Dead").

Secondly, no.

I'd say you're best off to write in an integrated development environment (IDE) like Microsoft Visual C++ before Notepad. If you're stuck on a computer that doesn't have an IDE on it, you can write .txt files in Notepad, e-mail them to yourself and then import them into an IDE to compile and execute.

Try bringing some American candy. Do a little research on the internet to see what we have and they don't. I know I'm always interested when my friend brings Penguins over from the UK -- they taste great!

Just bring them something they don't have. It doesn't have to be candy. Just something that will be new and interesting to them.
