@Mogan: The thing is...with the AC2 trilogy, it continued with Ezio's story and his journey while subtly introducing new mechanics. It finished on a high note and playing through the trilogy felt satisfying. Things got very much disjointed after that with multiple new protagonists with multiple different time settings without any real connection from one another. So at the end of the day, it all got pretty mundane and repetitive without any sense of purpose or direction. AC Origins had a pretty interesting and memorable protagonist and I had hoped Ubisoft would make a trilogy of him but unfortunately, they didn't.
AC franchise has been dead for quite a while now. The latest one, AC Origins was the only one that was quite good but this new one is looking like a copy paste abomination of AC Origins for easy cash grab. Gone are the days of AC 2 trilogy and AC Black Flag. Its now become synonymous with rehashed yearly copy paste release like COD with little to no innovation.
I really liked AC Origins and its DLCs....BUT this looks and feels like a re-skin of AC Origins. Gonna skip this one and wait for the next one probably if its in Japan setting. Hopefully, they'll make a new world with innovative mechanics and not a cookie cutter sequel.
@sakaixx: People who have high end PCs don't really bother with consoles. Similarly, people with lower budget / wages opts in for consoles. There's why both of 'em exists. We have the option to choose whichever.
Not what I expected from Bioware. Very disappointed. As everyone else has been saying...."Bioware is pretty much dead". They were once the king of RPG games but now...they're just among the bottom pile.
@garysan: The game already took a hit via visual downgrade from the Youtube videos we've seen. It was a tech demo that looks quite bad, had really bad / low res textures and lighting. It looked nothing like that was showed at the E3 premier. Hopefully, things will get better on release.
