@phoenix1289: Avalanche Studios is the one who made that Mad Max game from 2015...which was freaking awsm. So RAGE being similar post apocalyptic settings, its the perfect match.

10 years of BS development of this game. 10 years of BS false / misleading trailers. And after 10 years...when all was said and done, it was a messy, disappointing game with incoherent story with lots of plot holes / unfinished plot points...even with the DLCs / story patches. Heck, it didn't even had the decency to even finish the actual main storyline and instead shifted their time and resources to make a 5 episode anime series AND a CGI film which we have to watch...just so we can make any sense of the messy story to begin with. The dev team royally screwed up with this game. The irony is that all the trailers they had been showing...especially the Verses 13 trailers...they had more story and depth than the actual game itself.
Let's just hope that the next Final Fantasy game doesn't suffer from this debacle.
@solid_snake1461: Is this why Playstation owners constantly cry when Sony announces a new Playstation system with no backward compatibility ? Well I guess Sony has nothing to worry about releasing PS5 next year or in 2020 as PS4 owners obviously don't care about backward compatibility.
@uncle5555: Well, not everyone has the same taste or mindset. I'm on PC and I play not only new titles but replay games from 5 to 10 years in the past from time to time. People don't just ditch old games the moment a new game comes out. There are certain games that are timeless and can be played again long after its initial release. On PC, we can do it whenever. So this BC move from Microsoft will also enable Xbox One owners to do the same without having to keep or buy older consoles. Also, if you look at the timeline, Microsoft were never big on exclusives. They know it and we know it. But it still plays by its strength and that's what matters the most.
@Xristophoros: Let's face it. Microsoft was never big on exclusive games anyways even way back from the OG Xbox era. You have your Halos, Forzas and Gears of Wars just to name a few bigger Xbox exclusives but that's about it. They know it and we know it. So instead, they work on other things like this backward compatibility support, cross platform support (Which Sony refused to do many times) and other ideas which are always appreciated.
Meanwhile.....Sony were like "People don't want backward compatibility. Blah blah blah".....and then release a pseudo-backward compatibility by the means of a paid streaming service.
Meanwhile. Xbox One has ACTUAL backward compatibility with older titles that doesn't require a monthly subscription. Get your act together Sony. People want the real thing. Not this paid streaming BS.
@cboye18: Let's face it. Xbox as a brand never had big libraries of exclusive games to begin with. When it comes to exclusives, Playstation is king (Although in a way, exclusives in a bad thing for the overall video game industry so what Phil's doing is kinda okay)
