DQ is fairly big, Rocket Slime was released in English and DS games clearly don't need to sell a lot to make a return on investment. I'd say it's a safe yes. you would think that, but dragon quests rarely reach our shores[QUOTE="monty_4256"][QUOTE="Articuno76"][QUOTE="TheSpidren"]But it's Japanese. Will there be an English version?-Prime-
Huh? I thought the only ones that haven't reached our shores were 5 and 6? 7 was on Playstation, 8 on PS2, 1-4 was known as Dragon Warrior in the states on the NES.
you're right. 5 and 6 are the only numbered ones that never made it (though i'm praying for ports in the future...) but there are some random sidequest type games that didn't either. like yangus spinoff sequel and another torneko game. but generally they all come stateside these days. i guarantee that we will get DQIX because VIII did well.i don't like snaking, but you're right yahooy boy. i mean, if you say "no snaking" at what point is power sliding not snaking? if everyone knew how to snake it wouldn't be as bad, but it's not really fun if there's one snaker and it's not really a race. is that fun for the snakers? i do a lot of power sliding, but i wouldn't call it snaking cuz i'm not fast enough and i don't know that i could be. it hurts your thumbs. enjoy carpal tunnel! lol j/kI snake, and I don't care if anyone knows how to either. I think it's kinda dumb that someone is crying about not being able to do it, when it is so readily available to anyone that wants to try.Â
I hate having to dumb down my racing, and be afraid to do one too many powerslides cause the chump in 3rd or 4th (or even 2nd for that matter) might quit on me. Wah.
So...that being said, for the anti snakers. JUST WHAT IS the appropriate amount of powerslides I can take around the corner before you get all riled up and start yelling at your DS, "That's not fair!".  You need to tell me how good I can't be so you can be competitive.Â

You should rephrase that question, if I understood that correctly, you were asking, what game is worth your money? If you are a fan of RPGs, FFIII would be, considering it is arguably the best RPG out on the DS currently. Meteos is an entirely different game, so it comes down to what you would rather play, really it isn't that hard of a decision. If it were up to me I would buy FFIII, though.hammer_of_thor_if you want an rpg just wait for DQIX :-D
These two games are very different in the long run. NSMB is more simplistic, I think of it as a merge between mario 1,3 & the super nintendo verson. While Mario 64 was just to complex for me. I like games I can just pick up and play without getting stressed out over them.very well put! that is what NSMB is like, and that's why i LOVE it as for Mario64 on DS, it also has 30 more stars to get so if it took you forever before, get ready...
