Has anyone jumped on this deal? I just went to amazon to order the HD-DVD. If you buy the HD-DVD you get King Kong for free which comes included with the player, Plus you get two more movies for free. And there is another deal stating that if you buy two movies you get a third FREE. Lastly there is an offer called the perfect offer, in which you get 5 additional HD movies.
Like i said i ordered mine. I Got the HD player and 9 movies for a grand total of $189.00
i think halo is overrated. The question is if YOU HAD TO PICK ONE GAME WHICH ONE WOULD YOU PICK? its not asking you if you have a high end PC, like many of you have stated and thus picking halo.
peter moore stated that microsoft were already talking about the next system, and trying to project what type of techonology was going to be availabe for them in the near future to create the next system. i think that by late 2010 maybe 2011 theyll come out with a new system
iv'e seen a lot of people make these type of threads asking "what game should i buy?" so my question is, are you people so mindless and simple minded that YOU can't think for yourselves.
I don't mean to offend anyone its just something i've thinking about as to why people make these threads.
To the TC if you can't make up your mind by reading the reviews on this site how about downloading the demos for both games and playing them for a while. If your sitll not satisfied how about renting them before dishing out 60 bucks.
i dont think gears is that great of a game either, i guess ppl like me are in the minority. but when i was playing i was like been there done that. Same thing with halo 2, i thought it was a dissapointment. i know when am playing a great game. like when i was playing metal gear solid for the ps one i was like man this game is nucking futs same with the original halo. like i said before there is nothing original about gears the best thing about it is its graphics because story wise it blows.
i just bought a westinghouse LVM - 37w3 from costco for 799 plus tax, native res is 1980 X 1080. so if you want a tv that does 1080p,cheaper,bigger (37in) than the one you just bought i would really recommend you to check this one out. am getting mine delivered tomorrow.
