It depends some people say that hdmi will look better than conponent, some say that the difference is pretty insignificant. i think that if you plan to upload music to your xbox or download tv shows or movies then elite would be the better choice because of its larger hard drive. other wise get the premium

my longest was about 12 hours. my cousin and i were playing metal gear solid on the ps one when it came out. now i can only play about an hour or two max, then i get bored for some reason.
i bought my xbox about 4 months ago and been playing it on my 20inch standard tv. gears and rainbow six vegas look good as well as fight night round three. but i know that these would look even better on a hd tv. which ill get very soon. get the xbox and save up to buy the tv later on.
i didnt pre ordered it hopefully theyll have it when i go to the store. a song that i would like to play that is not on guitar hero is master of puppets by metallica, maybe theyll have it as part of the downloadable content.
