@JediMasterJ42: Exactly. MGSV was massively overrated due to the whole Konami vs. Kojima thing. Everyone knew it was his last MG game so we all rushed to his defense (rightfully so) but it still caused us to see the game through rose-tinted glasses.
The story was SHIT. I mean one of the worst that I've experienced in years.
The gameplay was massively unbalanced, but largely still fun.
The visuals were great, but spacious and undetailed.
@elheber: Except that the survey only noted Playstation and Xbox varieties as qualifying, so the women would have to be not paying attention to the questioning to identifying their tablet as such, which I kind of doubt.
However, the theory about the old Playstations and Xbox's could hold up.
@The_Mystery_Box: not the same thing and you know it. Come on, you're not even trying.
Detail is not the same as texture or polygon resolution. The attention to detail she is referring to is the amount of clutter in the world. The objects and things placed here and there that make it feel believable - that give it character and history.
Katamari games are cartoony and out-of-date but no one will argue that they are undetailed. There's interesting shit to look at everywhere.
Not going to happen, unfortunately. Their suits are going to tell their marketing geeks to crunch the numbers and they're going to find that they would lose too much money on potential map/mode/weapons DLC.
Then they'll make up some BS excuse about technical hurdles of making it work for all PCs. Same as always.
