RTCW was one of the best pc games i have ever played! Than it was ported to console and still to this day there has never been a company who has ported a game as well as they did. They basically went down to the nitty gritty base of the coding and optimized it from the ground up to work amazingly on the original xbox. I am not sure if the same people who made that game are working on this one (i know the most recent remake certainly was not the same people.. well i hope it wasnt) but something deep down inside me will always have a strong respect for the wolfenstein series!

@franci17 @Phelaidar if a review is made by a human its an opinion. Im pretty sure they don't make machines that you can just slide a game disc into and it calculates a rating. Even if that machine did exist the guy who made it would have calibrated it according to his opinion lol

lol ok, so its just a coincidence that the companies with the most money get the 9.0 and 10.0 review ratings (despite some being complete shit) while all the others get 4-6 ratings. There's your proof right there. And in all my years coming to gamespot i have never seen a game score a perfect 10 (not even the original halo) and low and behold GTA4 gets a perfect 10/10. A 10? So absolutely perfect, no room for improvement? That game looked like complete pixelated trash on console compared to every other game at the time, than bought it for pc and it needed dozens of patches just to run like normal shit instead of extreme shit. Not to mention the gameplay that could put anyone to sleep. You are all stupid if you honestly believe gamespot doesn't accept money for review influence.

A fucking 10, when do you ever give games a 10? gta4 was nothing but a city/traffic emulator with no joy or gaming involved whatsoever. Side payments are the number one income for gamespot, humans are humans, we all want money, of course you would accept loads of cash. When a company states "3 million budgeted towards game development and another 3 million budgeted toward advertising.. What do you think that means? 3 millions for ads on a website? NO, this includes a large portion of payment to all of the top game review sites. Why do you think there are so many game review sites popping up these days? BECAUSE THEY WANT TO BECOME A MAJOR GAME REVIEW SITE TO GET ON PAYROLL this is why triple A titles are not passed down to be reviewed by one starbucks coffee mohawk guy. They are agreed upon amongst the top exec's and than given a high score. And game publishers that can not afford to pay are not only subject to lower scores, but they are blatantly and intentionally pummeled into the ground as if to teach them some sort of lesson. This is like spoiled little kid greed and honestly, its blackmail. This is a terrible thing you guys do to poor game dev's who put in backbreaking work just to deliver us a few hours of entertainment. By some of the downright ABUSIVE scores you give these poor game developers you would think they have physically ruined you life, like they came in to your lives, killed your mom, screwed your wife, smoked all your weed, than left you to rot... Have you forgotten what video games are? A COMPLETELY OPTIONAL FORM OF ENTERTAINMENT. Why are you so brutal toward games that do not 100% live up to your expectations? Not only just gamespot, but as gamers in general we all need to stop being so critical of games these days, if a game is not perfect we bash the living hell out of it. This severely stunts creativity and forces companies to only stick to formulas that have proven to be previously successful (hence the 100 call of duty games) Instead of flaming every game that inst perfect we should look for the good in it and offer constructive criticism. A game should only be granted a score below 5.0 if it literally does not open or is completely broken. Given a finished product like dead island riptide a 4.0 is completely unfair and is nothing short of bullying. Its unfair because one kids bratty review probably cost this group of hard working developers thousands of potential sales.

I think technology in general causes depression.. If video games, computers, facebook and other technology didn't exist i think we would be grow up very different lives. If video games or computers were not available to use up our time than we would most likely be outside hanging with friends or riding bikes or doing real life things.. My parents tell me about being young and there were always kids playing everywhere you looked.. Now they say its like they are all hidden away somewhere. Humans have been around for millions of years and only a fraction of that time (.001%) we have been glued to screens and technology, i dont think this is what we were put on the planet for..
