I think 8.8 was a good score for it an i dont think it was generous. Twilight Princess was a good game and I think it got a good review.

No one knows for sure, but it's probably because of his review of Kane and Lynch. Cnet was payed to put up advirtisments for it on Gamespot and were probably outraged by Jeff's accurate review of what seems to be a merely average game. Now people are canceling their supscriptions let and right, so Cnet; was it really worth it?
