I had my Birthday, and I could get a new game for the Wii! My choices were Zelda: Twilight Princess, and Punch Out. I thought about it for a long time, but in the end, I bought Zelda: Twilight Princess. It's probably one of the must-haves for the Wii, and its also the longest game for the Wii aswell! Meaning, it'll take hours and hours to solve riddles, and try to beat the game. In my opinion, I think it was worth the $55.00.

There have been so many great seasons for trades, new players, and big improvements, but i think this season will be the season which will have all of those things. But the biggest things that have happened this summer were the trades. There have been many big trades this summer, which were surprising, stupid, and some were even suspected. First, lets talk about the Eastern Conference. The Boston Celtics have added a new player, which could probably be another big weapon towards their offense. Rasheed Wallace is a great shooter for his height and his position, and can be a deadly weapon outside of the key. The New Jersey Nets gave away Vince Carter to the Orlando Magic, and in return got Rafer Alston, Courtney Lee. and Tony Battie. I think the Orlando Magic needed Vince Carter, because he is probably a 10x better player than Courtney Lee. He plays the Same way as the rookie, but has a lot more confidence, and can be a killer in the paint, and outside of the arc. Now to the Toronto Raptors. The Raptors have added Hedo Turkoglu to their roster, which can help their offense, and defence quite a bit. With his buzzer beating shots, the Raptors could actually get somewhere this season. The Cleveland Caveliers have added Shaq. Shaq had been moving a lot these days, from Miami to Pheonix, and now from Pheonix to Cleveland, It seems whenever he gets comfortable in a city, he gets moved, hmm... The Pistons have aquired Charlie Villanueva and Ben Gordan. These aqquisitions could be a true change to the look of the franchise after the dissapointing 2008-2009 season. They are both solid contributers, and can be true weapons to any All-Star team. Finally, I will be talking about Jammal Crawford moving to the Atlanta Hawks. He doesn't change much, but he can explode if he wants to, as we've seen him do as such on the NY Knicks a few season back. There have been many rip-offs on game systems for the past 10 years. Buy yet no one has been close to copying the game systems we play and love today. Oh my god! This morning when i went on gamespot to see the latest buzz, guess what i saw, Guitar Hero 5! Come on, there have been about 7 or 8 Guitar Hero Games, and there hasnt been much change between all of them, other than the fact of adding a microphone and a drum set. On the other hand, I like what Rock Band is doing. They have only released 3 Rock Band games, and one of them is a high scoring game from the editors on the PSP, exclusively. But the developers of Guitar Hero seem to think that they should simultaneously release new games, even though you can download new content. So i really don't get why they are releasing new games every 5 or 6 months or so. Why don't they release track packs, like Rock Band does, and release a new game every 2 or 3 years! It's a waaay better idea then to keep on creating new games, and this creates more of a hype for the game series. It only makes sense to me. If i were the developers who are creating millions of more Guitar Hero games currently, i would stop, until people stop buying your games, and move on to another past-time in their lives.

It's been a long time since i have last posted a blog entry, and since so many things happened in June, i wanted to recap all the major events, of this action-packed month. Probably on of the most early happenings in June were the two championchip winners. In the NHL, suprisingly, the Pittsburgh Penguins won the Stanley Cup in a nail biting 7th and final game of the finals. And the most amazing NBA championchip team in the world, the Los Angeles Lakers! They murdered the Orlando Magic in a 4 to 1 series slaughter. Next to the sports, there was an amazing award show, straight from my home town Toronto, the 2009 MMVA's. From the amazing crowd, to the mind-boggling performances from the Black Eyed Peas, Nickelback, and Lady GaGa, the whole entire show was just incredible! But after the show, there was some beef going on between Perez Hilton and the Black Eyed Peas which made Perez get a huge bruise on his left eye. Ouch! But i think he deserved it anyways, seeing how big of a jerk he is, posting rude comments about other celebrities on his blog. Now to the sad part, the people who died in June. There was Michael Jackson's death, a horrible one, because of his young age of 50, and his upcoming tour starting in London, to the legendary ad superman, Billy Mays. As you can see, June has been an action-packed, depressing, different type of Month!

The NBA playoffs are no doubt, the most intense, and fun to watch event in the NBA, all year long. From the insane dunks, to the disgusting blocks. There is always something so amazing, it isn't even explaianable. This year, we have seen 2 straight series sweeps, 7 game series with 3 OT, and people winning awards in between these intense games of elimination. But this year, the teams going into the finals were favoured to be most likely the Caveliers, and the "not sure", Lakers. The reason the Lakers are in the "not sure" state right now, is because of the killer playing by the not expected Houston Rockets. Not to mention the rockets don't have Yao Ming, or T-Mac. On the east side, you can't really tell who is going to be clobbered by the Caveliers, the Magic, or last years champions, the Celtics. Both teams have bad inguries keeping them back from Jameer Nelson for the Magic, to Kevin Garnett for the Celtics. In the west though, the Nuggets are sitting back and relaxing, and waiting on the announcement on who is going to win, the Rockets or the Lakers. Honestly, I wan't the Lakers and Caveliers in the finals. But the way its looking now for the Lakers, i'm not too sure that prediction will come true. Well I guess we just have to wait and see who will win on sunday afternoon, the Houston Rockets or the L.A. Lakers.

Ahh, the old feud between Microsoft and Sony, from Xbox and PS2 to Xbox 360 to PS3. Who is the flat out champion. Well, i am going to tell you who is the victorious one between the major systems. Lets start with the graphics. Usually, both systems that share the same games have pretty much the exact same graphics as each other. But when you look at a specific angle, you can't really tell. I would call this section a full-out draw. The next section is the most important, game selection. Both systems have a vast variety of games to choose from, with their own unique controls. The Xbox 360 has many trademark games like Halo 3, Bioshock, and the soon releasing Bioshock 2, and Gears of War 1 and 2. The PS3 on the other hand has it's own little collection of games like Ratchet and Clank, NBA 08, and many more. But when it comes to expansion packs, Xbox is the one who comes out in the end. With expansions like the GTA IV one, and many arcade games, Xbox clearly crushes PS3. Now it's the design. Both systems look pretty futuristic, but when it comes to sleekness, the PS3 is the one for you. The PS3 has a nice chrome finish, and it's nice glossy black, gives it that Next-Gen feeling, while the Xbox 360 holds a more shabby type of look, with very stretched out designs. Clearly the PS3 wins in this battle. For the tie-breaker, it all comes down to features, and extras. Both systems have a variety of extras and unique attachments like the PS3's Blu-Ray Player, and it's very comfortable controlers, to Xbox's amazing online play, and it's wide variety of unique games. But if you wan't a system where you don't want to pay the per-month stuff, PS3 is definetley the chosen one for you. The PS3 has Wi-fi compatibility, while the Xbox 360 requires a payment for online access, even though they give a 1-year free online deal with the Xbox 360 bundle. In the end PS3 is the winner of two competitors. But everyone has their own idea on this very heated debate. What do you think?

Don't you just hate it when a movie comes out and there's so much hype about it, and you watch it and it sucks? Well that's the thing i'm going to try and carry out now, because some of the movies that come out and look that they are going to be successful in the box office, arent sucessfull at all! One example of a movie which is based on a good game is Doom. The game was great, the movie sucked! First of all, why would you pick the rock for this type of movie. He belongs to family type movies and shows, not action adventure shooter movies! Nother good example of what im trying to carry out is Halo: the movie. This movie hasnt come out yet, but it will, it has been announced. One again, Halo is one of the best games out there for Xbox360, and Xbox, and to make that into a movie, isnt really a good idea. If your gonna make a movie, get an original idea, dont't take it from games! PLEASE STOP MAKING MOVIES BASED ON GAMES!:o

Ever look at the shelves at a game store and look at all the junk you see just lying there? Why do they even make these stupid games!!! They only sell for like $5 and they still dont get bought. Whoever makes these games should think about resigning as a game developer. Really... Spiderman-3! Why would you make such a stupid and poinltless game! TAMOGACHI PARTY for wii is a piece of @*$%!!!!!!! Its so boring and there isnt even a point of even trying it ! I hope all the people who make these pointless games just stop making them and save the game developing world!
