We should go back to the 4-5 year console generations. The 360/PS3/Wii gen did immense damage to the industry and stagnated growth. We're only now starting to advance forward. Phil's right, console gens should last a shorter amount of time. If people can afford to buy a $700 smartphone every 2 years, they can afford to buy a $400 console every 5 years.

@wookiegr: Obviously they want to keep tabs on neckbeards. It's truly vital information to MS to know how many times each person searches for anime body pillows.

Didn't Blood Dragon reuse Far Cry 3's map? Granted it was $15, but it was smaller and came out in a shorter time.
