@Mirimon78: Every number, when given by a parent company, is the amount sold to stores. When Sony says they sold 30 million PS4s? That's 30 million sent to Gamestop, Amazon, etc. Same with Microsoft and the Xbox. This is business 101, they teach this in high school.

My guess: they totalled up physical copies, digital copies, limited/collector's editions, and console bundles. Those console bundles are $400 a pop so they could make up a huge chunk of change.
