MS is on a roll

I take any sort of user review with a boulder of salt. 99% of the time, the reviews you'll find are either "10/10 I bought it so I need to justify my purchase!", or "0/10 it's too hard/short/not on my system!"

I wouldn't worry too much about the Evil Within review. It has a 76 on Metacritic from 50 reviews, that's good enough for me. Plus, Mikami is a God.

Friendly reminder that DriveClub has 55 cars, none of which are Japanese or American. The game is a glorified tech demo.

Can't wait for Shadow of Mordor to get low scores too. The AAA game of the fall will be Forza Horizon 2.

The gameplay is refined and polished to a mirrored sheen, and gameplay is the most important thing. The gameplay alone is worth a 7 (which is a point lower than I'd give it overall). It's just too slick to hate.

The review is well written, but the score doesn't match what he's saying.

You're right, it does. When every year we have 100 grimdark shooters and 1 goofy game, there's a huge red flag going up. Where's the balance? There is none.
