@Infinite_Access @stan_boyd @megaspiderweb09 dunno, maybe all the other reviewers were busy with E3 stuff. Personally I am glad Tom reviewed it because he did something alot of other sites didn't, he talked about the AI and how it can be pretty dumb sometimes, If I played this before knowing that I would have been pissed and prob would have quit playing right then and there, at least knowing about it I was expecting it and so wasn't greatly dissapointed when I came across. So many other site never bothered to mention it. Sometimes a lower score doesn't mean don't buy it simply means here are the problems i have with it. He still gave it an 8 which is still a great score, look at the definition of each score it literally says Great.
@RedneckJazz what is an objective view? games are media, media is always about opinion, alot of people say justin bieber is crap, but the millions and millions of his fans will tell you he is the greatest ever. Some people are not as impressed with this game others are madly in love with it, no matter how hard you try you cannot be completely objective because we judge things on how we experience them. I would rate a Wendy's Burger over sushi anyday because I enjoy eating a big greasy burger, I do not enjoy eating rice and seaweed.
@johnritter4141 I was actually kinda looking forward to the family/friend sharing thing, where I could share my games with 10 people digitally, me and my buddies were going to all buy different games and share them with each other would have saved me alot of money.
@M413FIK-E @Ezio_2009 different strokes for different folks, different people are gonna like and relate to different characters in movies, games, books, real life etc. My roommate for example thinks Tyrion Lanister is crude crass and annoying on Game of Thrones, I think he is the coolest character in the whole show. My roommate thinks Daenyrus is the hottest character with the best personality, I personally like Ygritte.
@megaspiderweb09 @stan_boyd Tom is just different, he prefers platformers and puzzles and bright colors to violence and realism. He prefers games that are bizarre fun as opposed to deep topical things. Last time I heard him talk about his most anticipated game it was Pikmin.
@dj_tiesto_9000 last of us is only the best in graphics, characters and storytelling, as far as gameplay goes its not really anything special, try playing manhunt sometime its the same game with a different story from ps2 and xbox
@Diogladius its a masterpiece in story telling and characters, as far as gameplay goes not so much, its just manhunt 3 as far as gameplay goes, AI in stealth sections aren't as good as they are in even the original deus ex from 13 years ago and the puzzle of find ladder or box and place here to progress are just lame. So on a gameplay lvl this score is pretty fair, and since this is a game site and not a movie or book review I think its fair.
