@screaamshield But the customer isn't always right, if I told A&W to change their recipe on their rootbeer to taste more like Barqs would I be right, or should I just go and buy Barqs instead. If you don't like a feature of a game, don't buy it, and if you do like the feature then get it. Now a game I was looking forward to having an update on looks like crap in my eyes.

@Mazoch But why should the developers feelings have to match those of gamers, all gamers are different. I love the old RE games cause of the tension, others like the new ones because of the action. So now I am left with what I view as a crappy series and others think is a great series. If you don't like the flashlight/gun swapping in Doom 3 then play another game that has features you do like. Instead now a game I was looking forward to has become garbage in my eyes because I think different that you do.

@david1230 @crazymann888 Yeah, so its all cool that one of my favorite shooters of all time because of its unique tension will no longer have that. The game I loved is being dumbed down and thats good and therefore I should buy it /sarcasm

@crazymann888 @david1230 The flashlight/gun thing is what made me love doom 3, it was what seperated it from every other shooter, now instead of being a horror/shooter its gonna be a shooter/shooter.

@emgesp that flashlight is a huge game changer. sorta like how giving gamers tons of ammo in RE changed it from survival horror to just another action game.

@david1230 @Jedi_Dad yeah certain games, I said typically not always. MMO's are notorious for changing major things all the time. But the majority of patches are just fixes to things that aren't working how they should, like broken missions, skills that don't work at all, spots where you fall through the floor/wall/etc.

@JACOBDRAGON666 Um if you always buy used how are you a loyal customer, the devs and publishers are getting nothing from you so why should they care what you think.

@Jedi_Dad Patches are typically used to fix bugs that got missed before release not change the entire way the game plays.

@david1230 How, CD's are a product, just like a game is a product, I don't like metal guitar riffs so I want metal changed to something else that I do like.

@david1230 @Gladiator_Sofi The problem I have with having the light always on is now its just another shooter, nothing to seperate it from all the other shooters. Having to choose between light or firepower is what gave it the tense scary atmosphere, now its just call of duty with demons.
