@hotdiddykong well it is a simplified RTS in many ways, and its a game that Tom was really looking forward to, in fact he said it was his most anticipated game of E3.
@abHS4L88 @stan_boyd well with the first 2 pikmins I didn't find any need for skill, more just stategy, know which pikmin to use in which situation, but as far as needing to be quick on my feet and staying accurate i found I didn't need any of those kind of skills, just more knowledge than skill.
@abHS4L88 @BradPoynor well actually Halo probably takes more skill but less brains, no puzzles in halo but being able to aim quickly and accurately and avoid fire at the same time is actually more difficult than fighting in pickmin.
@jd7904 congrats on comparing two games that have nothing in common and thinking the ratings of two different games from two different genres are comparable. Do you do this with all things, do you compare the Boston Red Sox to the Boston Bruins, or how about a Harley Davidson to a Dodge Ram, I say the dodge ram wins after all you can't tow a camper with a Harley.
I don't want another borderlands type game, I want something that is its own thing, if I want borderlands I will play borderlands which I already do on a regular basis. Also don't know if this game can beat borderlands cause I play borderlands for different reasons that other shooters, mainly the comedy.
ha ha love how people are blaming the devs when its the gamers that made this decision. Wii U gamers just don't play online, so why spend money making an online multiplayer that noone is gonna bother with. Its a waste.
Dear Tom McShea, keep on reviewing, I like your reviews, even if I personally don't agree with your scores I can always trust you will tell me the good and bad of a game instead of just the good. I know you got alot of flack for TLOU and even thought I do think its an amazing game, your review was the only one I saw that mentioned some of the flaws of the game and because I was prepared for them by your review I knew what I was stepping into and so was not dissapointed. Keep at it man I think you are one of the best most honest reviewers out there.
@xanthan1 @cvbz the last of us is a great narrative with mediocre gameplay, easy puzzles, mediocre stealth features, its one of those games you play for the story not the gameplay sorta like heavy rain. which is why I feel tom mcshea giving it an 8 was justified, its a great story but as a game its just good.
