@Cloud_imperium Don't forget that a small fraction of PC games will actually run on Linux. While I will say that I prefer Linux over Windows, because of it's openness, it's just not very practical if I want to play a wider range of games. The same goes for Steam OS, because it's Linux based.
However, I may consider dual booting the Steam OS on my PC, so I can play it on my TV, without having to get a whole new box. In the future, there will probably be more Linux or Steam OS games, just because of Valve doing this.
I learned how to shoot before I gamed, and I have to say, being a good shot also doesn't transfer over to being good at violent video games. It's a totally different skill set.
BTW, learning how to shoot at a relatively young age also didn't make me into a psychopathic killer. You'd actually have to be a psychopath to be one of those.
The thing is, I can play PC games in my living room now. My video card has an HDMI out, which I just plug into my TV, and I'm good to go. In fact, I use a TV instead of a monitor all the time.
So, I guess I'm not in the market for the SteamOS/Box. I certainly don't need one.
There is an old saying "Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me."
However, that saying is wrong. Why does someone say something cruel? To hurt someone. The very act of the insult, or whatever it is, is an acknowledgement that words do indeed hurt.
Dude, instead of stopping Feedbackula, make it about purely funny comments and not the comments from the ass-hats. That way, they be competing to be funny, and not assholes!
