I must say, I was vastly underwhelmed when I heard they put in multiplayer. However, since it's R*, I'm willing to bet the singleplayer didn't suffer too much because of it. I MIGHT pick this up.
Well, I won't be getting Diablo 3, so this doesn't effect me at all. I refuse to get any game that requires a constant internet connection to even play the single player.
Hmm, sounds like the kind of game I hate. A multiplayer centric game, with a tacked on single player campaign. I do play some multiplayer games, but they are multiplayer ONLY games. I much prefer singleplayer ONLY games.
Okay, I really don't get this at all. Skyrim, and the rest of the Elder Scrolls games, have always been single player games, and very successful. It could be said that they are proof that single player games can indeed be successful, and don't need multiplayer. So, how can they go from that to "we got to make this an MMO!"? It doesn't make any sense.
