Ah, Halo. The first game had the distinction of having one of the few console to PC ports that didn't feel like a port. I remember the first time I saw the Halo arching up above me, and I was like "wow, this is so cool!" From then on I called a moment in a game that gave me the same feeling a 'Halo moment'. Pretty much the equivalent of "Oh snap!" I really enjoyed the first Halo game. I think one of the best parts of all the Halo games is the music. I have the soundtracks of two and three, and it's some of the best music I've ever listened too.
My first video game that I played was Poke'mon Silver. A friend let me play his during recess, I was "guarding" his Gameboy Color while he went off to play basket ball. My first video game that I owned was Defender on my Apple 2 e. My dad got the Apple used, and it had some games that came with it, which included Defender, Pong, Eliza, Space Invaders, D-day, F-15 strike eagle, I forget the others. Anyway, I bought it from him for ten bucks when he finally upgraded us to a current gen (at the time) Windows Me PC. I've been a PC gamer ever since. My first handheld was the GBA SP, and the first game I got was Poke'mon Ruby. My first console was PS2. Jeez, I now own over 196 games, mostly PC.
My gut reaction to the 3DS is why bother? They're finally going to put out a DSi that will fit my large hands, and they announce this. They could've at least waited a few months.
I should be getting Windows 7 soon. I hope it really will run my games. I wonder if it will run games from way back, that were for Windows 95/98. I have a lot of favorite games from back then. that work on XP. I hope they'll work on 7.
