I mean is this game really THAT good? In my opinion it won so many rewards that it was just ridiculous. I mean best PS3 and 360 game?? With all of the good exclusives that came out this year for each platform and they ended up picking the same multiplat?? I'm sorry but I can't see this game being that good. I haven't played it but that's mostly because it looked boring when I watched my friend play for a couple hours. Sorry but no GOTY should have simplistic "fetch x number of beaver hides" quests.

St_muscat

I haven't played it myself but from what I saw from a friend playing it its basically GTA 4:Wild West (which means it's at least a decent game, although I was never really all that big on sandbox games). So maybe GS are trying to make up for GTA:4 not winning GOTY 2008, or better yet thought it was the best game of 2010 .

I really don't have a problem with it winning GOTY, but it won so many awards it's pretty laughable. Either the staff of GS gets a hard on just thinking about the game or Rockstar spent some money.

If you like Bioware rpgs then you will probably enjoy Jade Empire. It's definitely not one of their best games but it is still pretty good. The combat is a little shallow and there really aren't that many rpg elements but the story and characters make up for it. I bought it for dirt cheap on steam and wasn't disappointed with it.

I'll also mention though that out of all the bioware rpgs I own, I have played this one the least. And it's the only one that I didn't play twice through without getting bored. Someday I will eventually go back and do an evil run through though.

For black friday office max is having a 50% off computer games sale and since I do not really go to Officemax to buy videogames, i was just wondering if they have a decent selection of PC games or not.

Nostalgia is a powerful force. Games like Dragon Age are much much better than the old rpgs unless you have the memories of playing them when they first came out. Nowadays they are ugly, slow, and not very immersing.

Vfanek

Unlike your Wii and Ds games. Hahahaha. No.

I'll even admit to the being a victim of nostalgia. The only reason I buy Nintendo products is because I grew up playing Zelda and Mario. Now next time please try to say something useful instead of just making fun of my gaming preferences.

What's happening? People are not listening to the scientific experts. They want to keep living their extravagant lifestyles instead of being responsible about taking care of the world. Sorry, but anyone who doesn't think global warming is real is being completely ignorant at this point.

I'm just wondering if this game is worth buying for single player only.

also are the entrenchment and diplomacy expansions worth getting, or should I save a few bucks and only get the regular version.

Torchlight

It's made by some of the same people that made Diablo, and it's only $20. The only problem is that it doesn't have online... but if you can deal with that it's a great game.
