to high heaven if it had been on 360/PS3. Seriously, this games single player was awesome and much better than CoD games. If it was in HD I have no doubt that the game would have been reviewed much better.
The point is that recycled games aren't necessarily a bad thing. As long as developers keep adding new and better features there's no real reason for them not to continue using an established franchise.
There have been around 11 Call of Duty games made. Since Zelda was made in 1986 there have been 17 games in the series. Yet people complain about Nintendo milking a series.
Just wondering who people consider to be their least favorite developer.
Mine would have to be Obsidian Entertainment. I don't know what is up with these guys and why they cannot make a good game. They literally just use the same exact mechanics as the previous games in the series (since they mostly seem to work on sequels) and somehow manage to add little that is new but a whole heap of bugs. Not to mention they aren't very good with story either.
The hate is due to the fact that in spite of the newfound breadth of the games industry, it has been drying up the depth to expand. It's a shallow pool that covers the whole mall when what I'm looking for is an indoor swimming pool with a dive board.Brownesque
Except that there have still been plenty of deep games coming out in recent years. In fact games are generally of a higher quality then they have ever been before. And even if you don't agree with that... I'd still rather have a shallow pool than no pool at all.
In general, the Wii's library is garbage (I blame the third-parties and their strange thing for mediocrity), but when it comes down to first-party devs, they tend to make games shine like a mirror in the middle of the savanna.ExESGO
In general every system's library is garbage. Each system has roughly the same amount of high quality games and a ton of crap games.
Hardcore gamers seem to think that Casuals are bringing about the decline of quality gaming but in reality they are responsible for the ridiculous growth of the gaming industry. So, I have to ask why all the hate?
