Finding all the heart pieces and gold skulltula tokens would be pretty difficult without a walkthrough but the actual game itself is pretty easy. I hadn't played the game in years so I was expecting to get stuck at least a few times but I pretty much just breezed through the game. Navi pretty much always tells you where to go and the map always has blinking icons on where you should be going.. and there are the sheikah stones.

I don't get why people think the 3d effect is going to get old.. Sure, after you play it for awhile it is no longer new and exciting but it still is an awesome effect and it's not going to get stale unless the developers just do a bad job implementing it.

Is it necessary to play these games in order or can I just pick up any of them? I really want to try out one of these games but I'm not sure which one to pick up.

It would probably look awful with the way they designed the system but I'd like to see a white 3DS at some point.

I recently bought Planescape: Torment and just recently shelfed that. I had so much trouble getting it to work and had to replay the opening section enough times that I just said screw it and bought some DS games to play instead. Hopefully I'll get the urge to play it again someday cause I was actually enjoying it quite a bit but Spirit Tracks and The World Ends With You are just more appealing at the moment.

Completely agree

Nintendo is just trying to pull the wool over core gamers eyes with 3rd party ports of current gen games. And the amount of WiiU defenders here on gamespot really worries me. Their tricks won't work on me.

No way will I splash out on this console that is only a fraction more powerful that what i already own (360, PS3) to play games that I can already play (on 360 and PS3) with added dual screen gimmicks but at the expense of putting up with a crap controller and a no doubt sub-par online service. I wish the Nintendo fanboy would see the same sense I do.

RR360DD

But you wouldn't be buying it purely for multiplats (unilike the 360 lololol)

Yeah, I know i wouldn't because it won't be getting many. Id be buying it for another mario platformer and another version of the same zelda we've been playing for 25 years. No Thanks.

PS. I bought the 360 for the superior controller and online

Says the guy with Halo in his sig. I like Halo but I've already played the same game what now? Is it 5 times? soon to be 6? Now certainly Halo has evolved with each installment but so have Nintendo's series and in much larger ways.

[QUOTE="qewrewq"]

he's talking about the 3 consoles, and he's right.

Snyper-007

why is he talking about the three consoles? this isn't console wars.

Fine. The Wii has the worst overall library of all four systems in my opinion.

There I fixed it for you.

Meh, I bought as many Wii games as I did for the PC this gen and there are still some more that I need to pick up. Like Donkey Kong, Kirby Epic Yarn, Metroid: Other M, No More Heroes 2, Marumasa and maybe Red Steel 2. Actually now that I think about it there are still plenty of Wii games that I need to play, but who knows if I'll ever pick them up.

I'm sure if Sony and Microsoft's next consoles had touch screen tablets for controllers...it wouldnt be a gimmick then, it would be "TEh most Epic thing ever!" :roll:

Haziqonfire

No. The kinect is considered to be nothing more than a gimmick.

People act like a gimmick is always a bad thing :?.

I don't know why.

Plus, almost every product has some sort of gimmick (or in other terms, a differentiator) ... so, there's that.

I'm also not sure why people consider gimmicks to always be a bad thing.

I'm also not sure why people are so down on any new hardware that is different. The Kinect has a lot of potential if developers would utilize it well, just look at Child of Eden, and the Wii-U's tablet looks extremely interesting and I really hope devs will make the most out of it. Honestly, "hard-core" gamers are some of the most closed minded people, when it comes to new hardware, that I've ever encountered.

[QUOTE="fueled-system"]

[QUOTE="Bread_or_Decide"] It flopped. It's okay...life will go on. Bread_or_Decide

they why do people keep bringing it up?

There isn't just one side you know

You accept your flop you don't deny the flop. If you deny it you must be reminded of said flop. So it goes. So it shall always be forever and ever. Amen.

Dude, nobody cares if the game was a flop on System Wars. I know that it calling it a flop satisfies some primitive need to see things fail for you, but get in through your head that most people don't take this that seriously. Also, it's incredibley ignorant to write off the 3ds as a port machine only a couple months after it's release. Not to mention they didn't just do a quick cash in on OoT or the upcoming Star Fox. It is literally no different than a film company updating an old DVD movie to a Blu-Ray Release.

Edit: Also, the text review for the game wasn't bad but I do think that GS needs to have the text review correlate better to the actual score. They do say that it is the best version of the game, yet it is the lowest rated... now that really just doesn't make sense to me.
