Play it on advanced/expert. It requires a lot of teamwork and is quite the challenge, I have yet to beat a campaign on expert, however advanced has become pretty easy for me and normal is like a joke now.

Also Versus mode is a blast, nothing is better than owning a noob team of survivors.

Resolution?

Hummm, what settings have you tried?

To be honest I dont think the Pentium D is going to cut the mustard. Also with Vista I would recommend more RAM.

I haven't really tried much tweaking yet, but I was able to get mostly medium settings with objects on high with the resolution at 1280 by 960. With the only major slow downs being when I'd enter a place with a lot of buildings, like in the 2nd level when you have to get the hostage in the school. Also how do you make it so you can see what the framerate is when you are playing the game?

Just played the beta for a little bit and it didn't seem too great. Granted RTS games are not really my thing. I really try to enjoy them but most times I just can't really get into them.
