May I ask where Half-Life 2 had shields? It had force fields, combine FF, to hamper the player's progress, thats it.
Yes, because Halo was the first game to feature aliens.
Half-Life 2 lacked a needler-like weapon. Half-Life however had a thornet gun (hivehand), but Half-Life was released before Halo, believe it or not.

If you asked me, halo "ripped" elements from many different things.
Do the marines in Halo look familiar? Watch Aliens and notice a striking resemblance. Plus the sergeant is basically a carbon copy of Sergeant Apone from Aliens.

Hey look another person who thinks Halo: CE stole a lot from Aliens!

Anyways I think the best FPS are Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, and Call of Duty.

I'm only excited about the Wii version of RE4 because I never got it for the cube. And it's only $30..and not $50 like all the other Wii-makes that certain companies are putting out. coughubisoftcough

I swear I've never seen any thread about any of those games that anybody cared about or had screenshots or anything. Except maybe Nights and RE, but those are remakes, as are other games on your list. Where are the screenshots? Where is the HYPE? I don't want a list of games, I want HYPE.

Why do you care if we hype a 3rd party game or not? Could it be because if the game doesn't meet the hype you could call it a flop and rub it in our face? And I've seen your posts, and it is either something negative about the Wii and its games, or it is you getting upset if anybody mentions one thing bad about Halo 3.

Ahh, so that's it. You are scared to get owned by a flop? I understand that, but it just makes your hype in that game not genuine. It means you need assurance to be excited about a game, and that's kinda sad. I don't need assurance to know that Mass Effect is going to be a GOTY candidate and THAT dam good. I never hear about any GOTY candidates from the Wii. I just find it curious, that's all.
