There was a screenshot on Reddit that showed a Crisis 1 character model and a CoD character model and the difference was unbelievable. Granted Crisis is known to have very powerful graphics and not much else, but it's still crazy how it was possible to look better than next gen years ago.
It's funny because no matter what you're playing on, CoD looks very outdated. CoD on max settings looks worse than most recent FPS's on low. This video is essentially "which tastes better, rotten pork or rotten beef?" Even if the beef tastes better, it's still rotten.
You know Sony was considering the same model but waited till after May 21 to see how people reacted to their conference. They're no different at all and people were whining about Sony when the PS3 came out. It's just "cool" to hate MS ATM.
A guy at my local gamestop was telling me about the stocks the stores got and said it'll be hard to find either console until around March. While I don't think it'll be that long, I can see mid-Jan to early Feb
I have to agree that this is probably the worst gameplay footage of this game so far. I'm still extremely excited, but the reflections on the wrong sides plus the still-present lag in the mirrors is a bit disappointing. I really thought this might've been fixed but I guess not. Looks impressive, but you can tell the X1 is able to handle much more. The only reason these issues exist is to get it out on launch. Maybe they'll be patched, but it makes this trailer look pretty poor compared to other ones.
I got Y, first game since Silver many years ago. Enjoying it so far, really fun while staying true to its roots. I would recommend buying one every few games
Really curious about the Home Gold features. Me and my brother always use the same console and have to pay for XBL separately. So I wonder if we won't have to do that anymore and if having separate gold memberships would still be beneficial.
