i was never really too perturbed by dentist visits. i've had a fair few fillings and one root canal and they weren't really painful experiences at all. they were awkward and uncomfortable at points, but not too bad, and they weren't very long procedures either. i just lay there with my ipod and got it over with.

ap biology was the bane of my life for a while. now the ap exam's out of the way and i'm officially allowed to stop caring about it, which is a welcome change.

Unreal Tournament 2004 (my favorite game of all time; older review from 1-6-09 or so)

Aberinkulas

you, sir, just became the coolest person in this union besides myself.

Might I ask why? ;)

well the review in itself was fantastic, and you hit upon a lot of the things that makes UT2004 such an unbelievable first person shooter for me as well. i'd easily place it as my favorite online game of all time; whether it beats out the contenders for my overall favorite game ever is another question entirely.

[QUOTE="aliblabla2007"]

Is this something to do with the Israel-Palestine conflict? That's what I got out of it.

Anyway, it's a good simple poem. Not very complex, but effective at delivering its message regardless.

waZelda

Yep, it was inspired by the conflict. I feel that a lot of the media supports Israel far too much (especially in United States). Personally I think Israel and Palestina must share the responsibuility for the conflict still going, and UN must take the blame for there being a conflict at all.

And foolz, you're right, I didn't write this one in Norwegian.

wait whaaaaat? you're Norwegian? that is awesome :shock:
what is it like living in pretty much one of the coolest countries on earth?

i think it was great. i have an affinity for simple poems. the rhymes were really effective and personally i don't have much of a problem with "then you will burn".
