Right now I'm using yellowdog but I havent been able to integrate it into a full computer yet bc to be honest I'm not to familiar with linux yet and all the technical details. I've given it a try but so far it just seems kinda incomplete ( for a noob anyway ).

Does anybody that has run other linux builds on the ps3 have any suggestions like one with a installer and that is more noob friendly?
yea i saw that...but from the keynote, in home, it was only the picture frames so far that let you do that. I hope they let people custom do their entire apartment.
I doubt sony is going to put that many ppl into the lobby. They will probably determine who goes where with whatever system they use to do it. I would love a city too but then you might have some problems with the driving of cars and crazy people.
P.S. does anybody know how to get an EHDD working on the ps3 from the XMB?
Do you think they'll come out with a package that will let you custom design the wallpaper that you use in the apartment. Imagine if someone in your clan had made a cool background for like a clan website or was just good at that sort of thing, do you think it would work on the walls?
When I first saw the keynote speech and how phil talked about HOME i was sitting there think "hmm....I...guessthis could be interesting." Then the features started showing up like the beautiful landscapes and the streaming video in the lobby. You have your pool and bowling, probably where I will spend most of the time. Then the apartment came up. I like the idea but have still not decided if it is worth putting the extra premium money into, but trust me it'll be put to use. The feature that secured HOME's coolness with me was the concept of the movie theater. I think alot of people have forgotten the, or havent seen the potential of this. Right now sony is saying that grouper will put user videos and trailers, BUT phil also said that they were teaming up with major movie labels. Imagine when you walk into a room, pay like maybe.....5 bucks, and watch a full streaming HD quality movie that is in theaters. For lots of peopole they'll still want the full theater experience but imagin the possibilities of that room.
thats about it from me, sorry about the rant and hope you agree. PSN:GhostintheShell1
Also what headsets do you have for when they start putting headset functionality in games, and when are they putting out the sixaxis 2 controllers?
