@Maroxad: If you want to deny the benefits of trade act agreements, then good luck. Do bad things happen from them? Yep, they are compromise agreements made by many wealthy businesses, you will find plenty of compromises in them. But they are overall good for Americans. And you will actually find thate majority support trade act agreements and reform them all the time.

@Johnny-n-Roger: Thats an easy one, US is now the biggest trade partner with Canada and Mexico thanks to that trade act.

NAFTA helped create 5 million new U.S. jobs.

That's just a blatant lie.

Reality is that it has cost over 1 million jobs and decreased wage.

Just because a million jobs were lost, doesnt mean 5 million werent gained mate. Look it up, the trade agreement created 5 million jobs in its coarse. You cant always focus on only the bad side of things, you have to also weight the good.

Except every source says that it caused a net loss of jobs in the U.S.

Can you site some sources that say the opposite? let alone the dubious 5 million?

I'd like to see supporters of free education defend this.

Feel the Bern when you pay for this with you taxes.

Seriously. People don't read these days anymore? It's not Merkel's or goverment's job to decide what is against law or not. It's job for prosecutors and courts. Just like Merkel said. She did the right thing here.

Did she? Suppressing free speech?

smh

People need to wake up and realize how dangerous regressive liberal ideology is.

This is blatantly anti free speech.

Germany is not liberal, and Merkel is not either. They are neo liberals, and there is a difference. Conservative or liberal, when Muslim despots claim their special right to not be offended, and back it with violence, the side that should be with free expression bows down and apologizes. Muslims are not special, and neither is any other group that says it has the right not to be offended. This level of cowardice is genocidal.

It is this acceptance of violence and suppression of free speech that is the modern regressive left/neo liberal/whatever you want to call it.

People are dying and they just blame themselves.

How does American Liberalism compare with European Liberalism?

I don't know if Germany believes in free speech but for as much as they try to bury the past of the Third Reich, it seems as if they are following them in certain aspects.

Look at the past sixteen years in the United States. When George Bush was being portrayed by caricatures resembling a monkey, Hitler, etc.., the left loved it and supported such displays. When the same happened to Obama, they cried.

Pretty similar these days, I think some people just can't take any sort of criticism, and the regressive left just feels like they have to protect them and protect their feelings.

@mark1974: comparing Islam conservativism to American conservative ideology is very dubious. They've evolved independently and have wildly different ideals. Ideals so different that they want each other dead. They are the same in name alone. Im aware that you know this; you're being dishonest rather than make an actual argument. I'm finding this to be a trend with regressive liberals.

@mark1974: and yet regressive liberals defend Islam and Sharia law constantly.
