HUH? what the **** are you yapping about? Gamers lack empathy why? your a gamer right? you would not be here if you were not, hypocrite. Is it empathy that allows you to assume someone you want to believe (that's called bias) is correct without question?
So your telling me that if someone enjoys a specific title or developer that they are not more likely to patronize said game or developer?
And once again, the entire point about all of this hellabaloo is that the technology and market are not dictated by assumptions. If a company can not evolve with the market, well, uh bye.
His assumptions only work under the concept that every game being released is a AAA game with a 200 million budget. Truth is, games are getting cheaper to make and graphics will get to a ubiquitous level allowing developers to sell games in pricing tiers of any level based on the size and value of the product.
The used market is not the enemy.
Metalica (mostly Lars) were so against Napster and other piracy sites. Funny thing is they got popular early on by giving bootleg copies of their demos to people--building a fan base that stuck with them, going to concerts and buying CDS.
You keep saying math and facts, though you are so obviously bias. You have shown hyperlinks to Gamestop earnings reports--that's not your money idiot. You are not proving or truly disputing anything. Uh huh, that's what I thought. ha ha get a life
I bought Bayonetta used. It is one of my favorite action games of this generation. I have since bought every Platinum game available--including the MG Rising DLC.
I seriously doubt Platinum would have negative words for me.
IGNORANT!! You vomit your biased "math" complaining about what gamestop sells. Once again, what makes you think those sales would go to you if used games did not exist?
Why are: movies, books, CDs and every other product on the market not have some dickface like you crying about money they think is owed to them?
