Code veronica was indeed an incredible game,i loved it.But i must say theat RES4 just about beats it in terms of sheer thrills and tight gameplay.Veronica was a great puzzle game and had some good action parts but RES4 was an ACTION game (not arcadey at all imo) and it nailed it so well that it left most other games looking average next to it.

Before RES4,Veronica was my fav. res game though.

Better frame rate.

No tearing.

Slightly improved lighting.

Better textures/grass.

Oh and when playing you do not have to put up with the annoying sound of the 360 jet engine and wonder if the 3 red lights will suddenly appear if you play too long :lol:

In this video is Nariko's partner shooting arrows in a standard "cover the caravan" mission.

More to the point:

• Some of the worst death animations I've ever seen in gaming. Seriously.
• User-guided arrow seems very lame after awhile. Where is the skill?
• After about 2 minutes the gameplay gets boring.
  
  • The worst part is that after it gets boring, you realize it has like 6 more minutes of the same redundant crap left.
• Oh god...these death animations. Come the hell on, Ninja Theory! They get hit with arrows and start breakdancing? :|
• Arrow effect is hella cool...but again, after the first 4 or 5 people are picked off, it feels like it's time to move on to someting else.

See...it's this kind of ridiculous crap that drops a game from AAA to AA.

6 minutes of the same boring stuff? I'm cringing already.

mgs3 was one of the best games last gen, and it got a 8.7....

It was hyped AAAA by cows and it was an average game for last gen.

Both Killzone 2 and Metal Gear Solid 4 have horrible textures, but overall look quite good. The same thing can also be said for a lot of Playstation 3 games.
