[QUOTE="Javy03"]If you add the two regions you far from get it outselling it by a "healthy margin". Like I said, last time NPD number were available it only had a 30k lead after you tally both in.In March adding both NPD numbers had PS3 in the lead. Thats far from healthy. It would give it maybe a 1-2 million extra lead over its roughly 7 million lead in about 10 years. Thats in no position to say PS3 sales are horrible and 360 sales are great when last gen the lead was around 80 million. Heck even the SNES and Genesis had a 15 million lead at the end of the gen.
And again this is hoping that the PS3s sales trend dont change with more games with a fanbase coming out and PS2 owners being forced to upgrade when SOny drops the PS2.
Grive
I'd say 30k is a healthy margin when the Ps3 is selling less than 50k monthly in japan and around 80k in the US. That's 60% of the japanese market or 37.5% of the american one.
Now, add to this that the PS3 needs to average over 200k units ABOVE the 360 for the next two years in order to beat it... and the problem becomes more obvious.
But all that matters little. The PS3 is doing abysmally right now. Had an acceptable launch and couple of months after, then went down the drain. That the 360 is not doing so much better does not justify the Ps3's failure.
"Mommy, mommy! I got an F, but it's alright since timmy got a D! so I didn't do bad!"
Have you even checked amazon sales? PS3 is dominating every other console... including Wii.You fail so miserably i almost feel sorry for you.(almost)
