well actually i had this problem on my standard 4:3 tv for a while - white dots in a weird pattern, grey blocks appearing randomly and a kind of "ghosting" when playing zelda. The problem went away by itself, after I had unplugged it for about 10 minutes and change the settings on Wii Connect 24. Since then, I've upgraded my tv to a widescreen plasma, playing 480p, and have had no problems. My guess? A wii connect issue or a over heating issue.

Hey, congratulations on having a high score on the most meaningless scoring system, ever.

Mine died (red ring of death) and would NOT turn on, so I put it in a box ALL ready to send it back to Best Buy. But for some reason, I sat on it for a month, and after I got my HDTV, on a whim, I hooked it back up. I set it horizontally, and turned it on, and immidiately got the red ring. THEN, just for gits and shiggles, I turned it vertically.

WHAMMO! It works! And i've been playing for hours, and haven't had a problem.

Coincidence? I dunno, but I'll never turn it on it's bottom ever again.

Normal and professional modes are separated, meaning if you start professional mode you start from scratch, even if you've beaten normal. However, I can't really remember, but you may be able to purchase unlockables you achieved in normal mode in pro.

My guess? Nintendo will go the route of Microsoft and release a "Wii-lete" or some similarly punny named uber-Wii, with extra hard drive space and high-definition upscaling or some crap like that. And, because we're stupid, we'll buy it, even tho we already own the original.

I just learned there's this new fangled thing called "video gamings" that you can "play" on your television set. Does this have anything to do with this "enter-net" I keep hearing about?

I agree with the above poster. Your save data and channel data are kept seperately, so just don't delete your save data and I believe you should be fine.

Yeah I'll buy both but if I had to choose one it'd be RE:UC. Looks pretty good for a rail shooter. Might be the first good RE FPS ever.
