ZOMG I BEAT IT!!!! :D

Yeah, it took me a little longer that expected, but that's a good thing, if you ask me. :P

This game is FAR better than Echoes, as there is a ton more replay value, interesting controls, and all around Corruption is just more fun. Still, I think the original is the best. ;)

Last boss wasn't quite as difficult as I was hoping for, but oh well.....I still have Hyper Difficulty to play on! :D

Wow dude that was fast, how about a review just picked up my copy from a futureshop in Montreal. I won#t be playing it for another month though so I'll need all the reviews I can get my hands on.

Wow really sorry to hear you leave man; you've always been active and have definitely had a hand in the traffic on this union. That said you're also Lebanese and that alone is well rare to see on her, either way I do hope you come back and post more often as weall enjoy hearing your opinion. If you do ever visit Leb be sure to PM me and I'll show you a thing or two about old school. Finally good decision on the school work that stuff always comes first and if you can't stay on top of it all then itis probably a wise decision to stay away from forums for now. So GL and "Please Come Again" in APU accent

I know every one of these tips yet I find they are extremely helpful to be put in writing especially to people whom have not spent hundreds of hours playing this game. Seriously great job, I'll look for some videos to show off these maneuvers.

Mario Kart at least from the amount Ihave spent playing this game. Every single version with the exception of DD for the GC has been an outstanding game that has brought hours and hours of multiplayer bliss. My only hopeis that the game gets more difficult as after my decade + of playing I have begun to find it easier and easier. I'd love another 3 star killer accomplishment like in Mario Kart: Super Circuit (GBA), that was a difficulty task no doubt for any player veteran or new comer.

Simply put nothing beats a last minute green shell from one side of the map to the other, just to cross the finish line mere seconds ahead of your opponent. Lurking behind the pact in 8th place waiting for that thunderbolt to jump to first in the last lap of the race is just PRICELESS. When it comes to true multiplayer on a Nintendo console I think we can all agree this is the game to beat.

I completely forgot about this. Definitely look forward to hearing the news. I hope they give us an update on Mario Kart and ease up on the numbers talk as it really did ruin E3 07 for them at least in my eyes.

[QUOTE="REVOLUTIONfreak"][QUOTE="HyruleanLink"]Sadly, I won't probably get it until the end of the year. I am working on Metroid Prime and I still have yet to get it MP2. It would seem werid not to play MP2 and then jumping into MP3:? For some reason, I am still having trouble with the storyline:(HyruleanLink
Just scan everything you see... especially in the labs.(MINOR SPOILERS)To sum up the basics though, Tallon IV is home of the Chozo (or rather, used to be), but the Chozo went all but extinct when a meteor carrying a poisonous radiation called Phazon hit the planet. Space Pirates realized that Phazon was on the planet, invaded, and are now experimenting with Phazon to give themselves more power to, like any villain wants, take over the universe! :P That's just a general idea, if you want to know more then I would suggest waiting for one of the upcoming Metroid Prime 3: Corruption Launch Center updates, where the entire storyline will be retold in a synopsis of all the games.

That helped A LOT seriously. I read the Chozo readings on the wall and do help. This gives me a better background and I'll be sure to check the Launch Center.:)

Launch baby already preordered my copy from Amazon last week. Not much point though since I'll be traveling and away from my Wii till early October.

Ihateelvis has written all you need on his plot synopsis for the game. Believe me as someone whom has played and finished both he wrote all you need to know to play the latest one. This goes out to everyone worried about playing 3 before the other versions. Anyway if anyone needs any help pm me or elvis I'm sure he would also be glad to lend a hand with the story.

I second Hyruleansidea however, I voted NO for change because I really think this banner represents the evolution of Nintendo ina really good way. If this vote ends in favor of change I really hope we can keep the consoles and handhelds in the same place. I actually just thought of something why not have the same consoles and handhelds in the front with each different background dedicated to a single Nintendo's franchise evolving on the different consoles and handhelds. For example we can do Zelda, Mario and Metroid. If anyone needs me to better explain this let me know butI think such a banner would really look cool.

Relax guys if this can't get a great score I can't see which nintendo game will get one. This is Metroid afterall, Nintendo's top tier title. Bioshock reviews are pretty sensational I've been waiting for it since last E3 06, however if it topples Oot perfect score I will be very disappointed. I'm only mad because I won't get to play it tillOctober at the earliest even though I'm getting it at launch.

I agree with most of you games are getting way to easy especially on Nintendo consoles. I'm playing TP and it is way too easy granted I'm about 30% in. Also playing Super Paper Mario that was a serious joke, too easy I finished the whole game without dying once which really takes out the fun in playing games. Although I don't like them too hard because leaving a game unfinished almost certainly results in never playing it again which is even worse then an easy game because I end up feeling so stupid for buying without much research. I think Metroid 3 should change my perception on the subject as the Metroid franchise always maintained a perfect difficulty in between hard and really hard.

Even the new channel hardly qualifies as a justifiable amount of hype for a game that is surely going to be amazing. I mean, it's hardly going to reach out to more people than the ones interested enough to take the time to download the channel and everything. This game should definitely be hyped the same amount as, if not more, than the original Metroid Prime was, as it could be a good selling point for the Wii, but this time geared towards the more hardcore gamers. What is Nintendo thinking?! :Pihateelvis

Now that I think about what you said I think it needs a little more hype because of an excellent point you make. That is the Wii lacks hardcore games so one would be inclined to think that when a hardcore, AAA, 1st party game is actually coming they would jump on and market like nothing before. I guess the launch channel was that thing, but clearly if not all of you are satisfied then more work lies ahead of Nintendo. I think they should at least mention it more often when talking about the Wii because it certainly makes it less gimmicky in the eyes of other gamers and otherpotential buyers
