Since you dont know what winning means, its been out selling the Wii and PS3 since the start of the second half of the year.

Let me break it down.... From your own experiences, which gives better graphics?

1- A PC with an average CPU and good GPU (360)

2- A PC with an average GPU and good CPU (PS3)

Its clearly the first option. There are arguments to both sides (Ps3- lazy developers, xbox- reason why ps3 exclusives look better is because MS doesnt push 1st party development).

THE ONLY VALID WAY TO COMPARE SOMETHING IS WHEN YOU HAVE CERTAIN CONTROLS BEING THE SAME, IE MULTIPLATS. And we all know 360 takes the prize here.

Its like saying Mario Sunshine would look better on the PS2, when the real answer is "no you n00b its not out on that platform so you will never know!"

But throughout this form its clear that the PS3 fanboys have an inferiority complex, you hear them harp on about uncharted and killzone not being able to be done on the 360. When in actuality "no you n00b its not our on that platform so you will never know!"

And its totally irrational and stupid to say PS3 is more powerful because of their exclusives, yet in the same vain say that developers are lazy when it comes to multi plats. The proof is in the pudding and the 360 can push more polygons than the PS3 - fact! Which is the most important aspect of graphics!Talk about denial!

So your basically gonna ignore the fact of PS2 having a massive install base. If we work in ratios. Halo should still outsell GT.

The dev kits have the extra memory. They are taking notes from the PS3 dev kits. It allows them to be more efficient and give them more room to try different things.

No matter what the lead is right now by the 360, we all know sales will drop dramatically in the new year. Thus whatever the PS3 does sell in excess of the 360s numbers wont make enough difference to close that gap any time soon. The PS3 will be lucky to close this gap any further next year as the 360 has its heavy hitters coming out.

Natal will be huge, the PR is on point and people are very interested. Reach will be a monster in terms of sales. Plus the other great "console" exclusives coming out will make it the best 360 year yet. PS3 did own 2009 in terms of great titles. But 2010 is 360s year, Microsoft knows this and they are saving all their marketing pennies for next year. We all know Microsoft owns Sony at marketing.

In terms of regions and sales.

PS3 has Europe -Minus UK (which is the biggest market in europe, im hearing the £110 360 is selling out- the PS3 is £250) & Japan

360 had America & UK

PS3 might have a slight edge, in terms of markets but this edge does mean it will ever beat the 360 in sales.

To the previous poster about profitability. If a game sells for $60, its wrong to assume all $60 goes to the developer. The wholesale price of these games are much lower, so that retailers too can make money from selling games such as Walmart. Also if a game cost $60 million to develop, you also have to add marketing costs to this total. So the profitability on K2 and U2 are quite disappointing considering their initial outlay. The will make profit, but nothing like the profit on games like Halo, Gears, Call of Duty, GTA.

Also, in terms of graphics. I think the upcoming title of Crysis 2 is the best looking console game to be released. Since the Xbox tech demoes look better and have more bells and whistles and history tells us most multi-plat games look better on the 360. Safe to say...

Crysis 2 (360) > Crysis 2 (ps3) > Killzone 2/ Uncharted 2

Will this title be the ulitmate decider as to which system is more powerful?

From the tech demoes i have seen 360 is the winner thus far.
