Xbox has won the UK. PS3 will never catch up this generation. PS3 only had a 20 pound price drop, 360 30 pound!

If you are into Blu ray movies get the PS3. If you want better library of games, Halo REACH!!!, aswell as NATAL, need i say more.

The PS3 is so much more powerful thats why 90% of multi-plats look better on it... oh wait! lol

a price drop isnt going to help the 360. People havent been holding back because its too expensive, like they have been with a ps3. I think the increase in popularity of bluray comboed with the price wil eventually put it over the 360 imo.

Erm you are talking about gamers who are holding off buying the system because of price. But that market is almost saturated in terms of current PS3 owners.

The reason why WII is selling the way it is because of casuals. Which is what MS is going after with NATAL, coupled with the lowest price point in a recession. Xbox is definately in a better standing in the foreseeable future.

Lets not the forget the PS3 is still the most expenisive of the 3. Sure it will intially outsell the Wii for a month or so,but after the shype has calmed down, does anyone expect the slimstation 3 to beat Wii in sales?

Bottom line is this may close the gap with the 360, but it will never make up the 8 million advantage 360 has.

Actually Xbox are taking a page from the PS3, i think they are adding more memory to their dev kits, which allows devlopers more flexibility (which came as standard for the PS3). Also MS will be offering something called X tools (i think thats the name). Built from the ground up for the xbox.

Play, look at their console bundle offers. Its the 80gb with 2 Terminator movies (the latest 2) and Infamous.

Im suprised they managed to make the PS3 version on a similar level to the 360 - the HDR and better textures is what makes xbox stand out. We all know that the PS3 couldnt never handle the HDR shown in Halo 3, thats because of the inferior GPU. Remember a CPU cant perform tasks of a GPU, the cell can only do so much.

For 280 you can get 2 blu ray movies and a game in a bundle pack.

So at 250, not only are you getting an uglier (no piano finish!) version, with less features, it would end up costing more once you buy software, when comparing it to the current PS3 offers available.
