Positives about the PS3

Blu-ray helps lasting through long periods of game droughts (Ex: PS3's whole first year)

A couple promising games comming in 2008 (you just have to wait a little)

Negatives

The closest competition PS3 has is the GBA. (It is still losing)

The PS3 library consists of year old X360 ports and the majority are inferior.

Every PS3 owner has gotten Blu-ray forced down their throats, many people do not even own HD TV's.

The online sucks, has barely any demo's or videos. Most people online don't even have mikes so you might as-well play against bots.

The fact that you buy a more expensive system to play watered down 360 ports is laughable.

So you bought a 360 why? To play on your standard def, by your logic like everyone else?

We're moving and hoping to get new tv's. I'm hoping to get a PS3 or 360 in the future, what type of tv is reccommended? LCD or Plasma?

Also, when are the HDMI 1.3 enabled tv's coming? Should I expect them to cost significantly more? Should I hold off until then or buy a set anyways?
