There isn't enough variety. If they did a Star Wars series that would make sense. I'm surprised they haven't actually...

I have to say, I was never that into Star Wars. Star Trek though was always on TV it seemed, and every episode kept me completely entertained.

I would have to say that based on movies of both series.. I would say by far Star Trek.. To me even in the older ones there were some lines or some scenes (especially with the new triology) that made me want to facepalm my self.. Oh no he killed younglings! When i heard that said numerous times, I wanted to strangle my self.. Then episode 2 was full of angsty gumpy Anakin in akward teen romance.. The first one, ironically enough Anakin was the worse part of it.. No it wasn't Jar Jar Binx imo, he was meant to be a goofy character.. It was little Anakin again, half the stuff he said wanted me ot strangle my self (are we seeing a pattern?) as well as some of the scenes.. Especially the part where he accidentally blows up a space ship..

Yeah, episode two was horrible, but I still like starwars better.

Are you for real? You can absolute compare these two universes. The aspects to compare are so direct that to compare the two is natural. Which is why people have been comparing the two for decades.

Not really..... Besides the titles I guess and the massive fanbases around both I don't see much similarity between them. Star Wars has the force, Jedi, sword battles, creepy guys in cloaks. Star trek has Enterprise, phasers, transporters, and dorky uniforms. And I can't think of any Star Trek story that is similar to a Star Wars story. So no, you can't really compare them.

I think your avy TRUELY says which one you like better... ;)
