I wouldn't be surprised if Valve pulls Stream from German users, if they lose the case.

It sounds like Germany's law isn't clear on digital goods, so this could go either way for Valve.

So there goes the chance for another Colony Wars game(unless Sony gets someone else to do it).

The industry seems to be struggling lately. Since it seems like if a game doesn't have "football" or "Call of Duty" in the title, it doesn't sell that well. Don't know if it's just everyone is burned out on video games, economy still in the crapper or what. Seems like Sony is just making hard choices like other companies have had to do lately. Although it's a shame to see this studio shuttered after all the fantastic games they've developed.

@GalvatronType_R It's because there's still people only consider Gamestop out of habit.

The main reason(& only reason I can see why people still buy games from their B&M stores than Amazon is because they have to have the game right then than wait for it to be shipped to them. Even if ordering online will save them money. Which might explain why the main customers for them are parents and little kids that don't know better.

It's because the japanese developers are paranoid that japanese gamers will reverse import the game.

It's much like the anime industry at the moment. Since the North America & Japan share the same region for blu-rays. With the anime industry, some companies are refusing licenses for blu-rays releases right now. Because they're paranoid that japanese customers will just import the U.S. version, since it's cheaper(even with import fees) to buy. That's why most of what anime is released is on DVD, since it's a different region compared to Japan.
