i hear you man.. i live in the UK but for the sake of gamers worldwide, i hope they still retain the physical discs and also let us use 2nd hand games on the system..

some rumours appear to suggest that both the consoles are looking at ways to cut out use of 2nd hand games.. and i sure hope they do NOT implement that..

@Sling_Master yes i agree with you.. my biggest gripe with GW2 is that it lacks the flexibility and adaptability of the skill system in GW1.. i really loved the way GW1 let you customise your own personal skill set irrespective of what weapon u were using, that bit was really awesome..

also dont forget that the UK has a very robust mental health system that works in close liaison with the forensic service and has good risk assessment tools that makes it possible for early identification of problems. ofcourse no system is 100% foolproof but i think we have succeeded in keeping incidents like this to as little as possible..

when will these politicians really learn that there is not much truth in the "violent video games breed violent people" statement ??

they need to invest more time and energy into things that matter and are beneficial for society..

Valve has confirmed that the 'Steam Box' will use Linux.. if this Piston is the same as the rumoured Steam Box, it is implied that it will run Linux, an OS on which Valve is increasing its portfolio..
