Their best exclusives were Dead Rising 3 and Killer Instinct.
Dead Rising 3 looks like more of the same, which is just typical Capcom.
Sadly Killer Instinct looks like total crap! This is coming from someone who has wanted a KI sequel for the last 10 years more than any other sequel period.
Another Halo? Yawn. Another Forza? Gran Tourismo says "Hi".
I'm sorry Mr. Yee maybe you could help clearify something for me. Did you just say that gamers, who are American citizens, have no credibility? You know, the same citizens that in all likelyhood elected you? You are a discrace to your office Mr. Yee.
Oh and telling is to "quiet down" is just going to have the opposite effect. Our founding fathers were told to "quiet down" and you see what happened. Good luck on getting re-elected, you're going to need it.
That collection is impressive! As a collector myself I have 173 of the NA SNES library with the only rare/expensive ones missing being Hagane and 3D Noah's Ark. Most are lose cartridges but I do have a mint condition Earthbound with box and guide that was appraised for $350 just last year and I've had offers up to $400. Ironicy, I only paid $8 for it brand new when a local department store went out of business.
The thing that non-collectors don't realize is that the majority of the price is in the boxes and the manuals. That $1 crappy Shaq-Fu becomes $5-$10 if it has the box and manual. They are even more expensive if they are factory sealed. Back in those days, most people threw out those boxes and the manuals had nothing to be placed in and they ended up getting torn/ripped/lost so they are more rare than the games themselves.
And to those saying "just download the ROMs". I may be a collector, but I'm a gamer first and foremost. I have yet to see an emulator that perfectly emulates every game. Some are close, even 95% close, but there are always some graphical or sound glitches or frame rate inconsistencies. Some games like Mega Man X3, can't be emulated at all. In short, emulation is a nice alternative, but you can't beat having the actual cartridge paying on it's designed console.
You can replace the batteries. All you need is a security bit, a new watch battery and some solder. Replaced the battery in my Crystalis cartridge and it works perfectly.
IMO a 1-5 scale works much better when giving scores in reviews. 1 = complete crap, hardly even playable. (Superman 64, E.T.) 2 = highly flawed but playable to some extent 3 = average, just as many pros as there are cons 4 = a good game with a few things that could have been better 5 = a masterpiece, little or nothing could be done to improve upon it at the time of it's release (FF7,OoT,SMB3) With a 1-10 scale there's too much grey area. Whats the difference between a 6 and a 7? a 3 and a 4? an 8 and a 9? Reviews are opinions (educated or not) and as such are very subjective. By eliminating the grey area it would reduce confusion and ultimately reduce internet rage. Besides, I pay more attention to what they say in the review rather than the score itself. Been plenty of times a highly praised game got good scores but I myself couldn't get into. (Assassin's Creed, Oblivion, Pokemon for example)
