heheh I don't think it's offensive... People are way too sensitive. We play games where we can run over people, shoot, kill in so many ways, etc but then somehow a silly little name is offensive. Ever played the condemned series? Btw, it's awesome...But how can that be OK and a little gamer tag not be ok? Because of a ratings scheme? really!?
And it's not like your name is really that offensive...I bet half the population of xbox live has never even heard of JFK
Plus, there are many names out there that are pretty offensive and somehow don't get caught.
But why do you care that they make you change it? It's no big deal!
I have both... But I wish I had rented Deadspace instead of buying it. I beat it in a weekend. L4D I have played for months and months...
But, if you don't have Live, then L4D is no good
There's some sense in charging in order to limit the frequency of people changing their gamer tag... But 800 is a bit steep 400 would be more realistic, and I wouldn't have too much of a problem with 400i dont think that MS should charge 800 GP to change your gamertag i think it is very unfair and it is too much GP.
what do you think?.

If you're willing to spend the time to gripe on this forum, then why weren't you willing to do 5 minutes of research before buying an elite? It's not difficult to figure out that the only difference between an elite and a standard model is the finish and the hdd size. Send me an email, I'll buy your elite for $50after all the hype i.e the elite doesnt get the red ring, the elite is more silent, the elite has more space on the hdd etc. it finally dies on me. i have had it for exactly one year now.
and today just as i turned it on, baaaaaaaam. red ring of death. from the 1st month i got it, i could tell there was no big difference betqeen the elite and arcade except for the space on the HDD. it still made lots of noise etc.
the only reason i got the elite was coz of no red ring. but now that it is dead, all i can do is laugh at myself for how stupid i was for buying something just coz microsoft said it was the be all and end all of xbox consoles.
but i was only sad for 1 minute. why? coz i have a ps3. though i dont have many games on it, i have something that doesnt have red rings, and though it cost me more, i am satisfied with it from day 1. and i have also had it for exactly one year now. during that time, it has never frozen, never made noise like an 18 wheeler, never crashed etc.
when i send in my elite to microsoft, and i get it back, am giving it away. it has done more harm than good. even my cat is afraid of it. the noise it makes is unbearable and scary.
to those that have elite 360 consoles, have you ever got the red ring?

Although collecting all that crap and playing a game for so much is a bit crazy, I would have also made a similar threat had I done the same in Fallout....
[QUOTE="Khaosmasterx"]Okay, what about video streaming? And is it possible to recover my old gamertag? Video streaming works just fine. I even do my streaming from a mac and it works great. There is also the option of putting your movie on a usb stick and just plugging it right into the front...works great tooNo there isnt. Anyway an internet browser on any console is kind of stupid because if you own a console then you have to own a computer and besides easier to navigate with a mouse and keyboard than an analog stick and buttons

maybe the odd thing wil make you jump...but it's not scary
The TV in your link is a standard definition (sd) tv... so why would it be any different?
If there is a difference (due to the fact that it might be a better or bigger sd tv), it will only be a really small difference...hardly noticeable
Why not purchase something like a 22 inch 1080 monitor? They are much cheaper than HDTVs and do the same job. A friend of mine has a 22" BenQ that is native 1080 resolution and it looks awesome. The monitor cost $220 canadian compared to $599 for a 32 inch TV or $449 for a 22 inch HDTV (I don't know how these prices will translate for you...)
something to think about anyway.
